Cerakote® Ceramic Coating in the UK
What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is a ceramic-polymer coating that gives excellent corrosion, abrasion and chemical resistance. It can be applied to metals, plastics and other surfaces, and comes in over 100 colours. It goes on as a very thin film, a fraction of a millimetre, so it suits parts where tight tolerances matter. It was originally developed for the firearms industry and is now used on automotive, motorcycle, marine and industrial parts.
Why choose Cerakote?
- Hard-wearing: resists scratches, chips and everyday knocks
- Corrosion and chemical resistant
- Thin finish with no bulky build-up on precision parts
- Over 100 colours and finishes
- High-temperature and thermal barrier options for [exhaust and engine parts]
Cerakote or powder coat?
Powder coating is a good choice for many parts. Cerakote’s much thinner film makes it better for components where fit and tolerance matter, and it can be applied to parts that are difficult to powder coat. Talk to us about which suits your job.
Common questions
